Our Services
Comprehensive horticultural expertise for every stage of your garden's life.
Garden Design & Consultation
Complete design service from initial consultation through to detailed planting plans and implementation guidance.
Our design process begins with a thorough site assessment. We analyse soil composition, drainage patterns, sun exposure throughout the day, and existing vegetation. This technical understanding combines with conversations about how you want to use the space.
You'll receive detailed planting plans with species lists, placement diagrams, and seasonal interest charts. We specify mature sizes, spacing requirements, and maintenance needs for every plant. Implementation can be handled by our team or by contractors of your choice.
What's Included
- Site visit and analysis
- Soil testing and assessment
- Concept sketches and mood boards
- Detailed planting plans
- Species selection with sourcing recommendations
- Maintenance schedule for the first year
Planting & Installation
Professional planting services ensuring each specimen gets the best possible start in your garden.
Proper planting technique makes an enormous difference to long-term plant health. We prepare each planting hole with appropriate soil amendments, ensure correct depth and orientation, and provide initial watering and mulching.
This service works beautifully for clients who have their own design ideas or have purchased plants independently but want professional installation. We can also source plants from our network of specialist nurseries.
What's Included
- Soil preparation and amendment
- Professional planting to RHS standards
- Initial watering and mulching
- Plant sourcing available as optional add-on
- Establishment care guide
Seasonal Maintenance Programme
Regular visits throughout the year to keep your garden healthy, tidy, and performing at its best.
Gardens need different care in different seasons. Our maintenance programmes adapt to the rhythms of the year—pruning in winter, mulching in spring, deadheading in summer, and preparing beds in autumn.
We typically recommend quarterly visits for established gardens, with monthly visits during the first year after planting. Each visit includes a health check for all major plants and proactive identification of any issues.
What's Included
- Weeding and bed tidying
- Seasonal pruning
- Mulch application
- Plant health assessment
- Pest and disease monitoring
- Written report after each visit
Ecological Garden Audit
Detailed assessment of your garden's contribution to local biodiversity with recommendations for improvement.
This service is perfect for environmentally conscious gardeners who want to understand how wildlife-friendly their garden currently is and how it could be better. We assess everything from plant species diversity to habitat provision for insects, birds, and small mammals.
You'll receive a comprehensive report scoring your garden across multiple criteria, identifying strengths to build on and opportunities for enhancement. We prioritise recommendations based on impact and feasibility.
What's Included
- Complete plant species inventory
- Wildlife habitat assessment
- Pollinator resource evaluation
- Soil health testing
- Water management review
- Detailed report with prioritised recommendations
Soil Improvement Programme
Systematic approach to building healthy, living soil through organic amendments and natural processes.
Poor soil is the root cause of most garden problems. This service focuses exclusively on building soil structure, increasing organic matter, and encouraging beneficial microorganisms. The results show in healthier, more resilient plants.
Particularly valuable for new builds with compacted builder's soil, heavy clay that drains poorly, or sandy soil that dries out quickly. The improvement is permanent and cumulative.
What's Included
- Comprehensive soil testing
- Customised amendment plan
- Organic matter incorporation
- Drainage improvement if needed
- Mulching and surface protection
- Follow-up testing after six months
Pollinator Garden Creation
Specialised design and planting focused on supporting bees, butterflies, and other beneficial insects.
Creating genuinely useful pollinator habitat requires more than scattering wildflower seeds. Different pollinators need different plants, and timing matters—early spring nectar sources are as important as summer abundance.
We design pollinator gardens that provide continuous food sources from February through October, incorporate nesting sites, and avoid harmful pesticides. The result is a space that's alive with beneficial insects.
What's Included
- Site assessment for pollinator potential
- Season-spanning planting plan
- Native and pollinator-friendly species selection
- Habitat feature installation
- Professional planting
- Management guide for ongoing success
Garden Rescue & Renovation
Revitalising neglected or underperforming gardens through selective intervention and replanting.
Inherited a garden that's overgrown, struggling, or simply not working? We assess what's worth saving and what should go. Often, there are valuable mature plants hidden among the chaos that deserve a second chance.
This service is part detective work, part surgery. We identify plants, evaluate their health, improve growing conditions, and fill gaps with appropriate new additions. The transformation can be remarkable.
What's Included
- Plant identification and assessment
- Selective clearing and pruning
- Soil improvement
- Strategic replanting
- Mulching and weed suppression
- Recovery plan with ongoing care instructions
Vegetable Garden Design
Productive kitchen gardens designed for maximum yield, crop rotation, and year-round harvests.
Growing your own vegetables requires different considerations than ornamental gardening. We design productive spaces that maximise yield while minimising effort, incorporating companion planting and natural pest control.
Whether you want a small herb bed by the kitchen door or a substantial plot producing vegetables year-round, we create systems that are both productive and beautiful.
What's Included
- Site assessment for edible production
- Bed layout and crop rotation plan
- Soil preparation for vegetables
- Companion planting recommendations
- Seasonal growing calendar
- Organic pest management guide

Working Together
Initial Contact
Reach out via email to describe your project. We'll arrange a preliminary call to discuss feasibility, timing, and whether we're the right fit.
Site Visit
We visit your garden to assess conditions firsthand. This typically takes an hour and includes soil testing where relevant.
Proposal
Within a week, you'll receive a detailed proposal outlining our recommendations, timeline, and fixed-price quote.
Implementation
Once approved, we schedule the work. For design projects, you'll see concept sketches before we develop final plans.
Service Questions
Absolutely. Most clients combine design with installation, or installation with a first-year maintenance programme. We offer package discounts for combined services.
Our regular service area covers Kent, Surrey, Sussex, and parts of Hampshire. For larger projects, we occasionally travel further. Remote consultation and design services are available nationwide.
We work on projects of all scales, from balcony container gardens to multi-acre estates. Small spaces often require just as much thought as large ones.
Design work typically has a 4-6 week lead time. For planting and installation, optimal timing depends on the season. Spring and autumn are busiest, so booking 2-3 months ahead is advisable.
Initial phone consultations are free. Site visits for quotation purposes are charged at £75, which is deducted from the final invoice if you proceed with the work.
